Financial Support --
Your dollars are necessary to continue to expand programs and reach a greater number of seniors.  These programs support and maintain their desired quality of life.  Please click here for specifics.

Volunteerism --
Last year 941 Heartland Volunteers contributed over 23,000 service hours.  By sharing hobbies, skills and talents, you can be part of the successful team of Heartland Volunteers.  There are opportunities in each of the major service areas:  Adult Day Care, Activities, Nutrition, Outreach, and Transportation.

Currently, home-delivered meals, Friendly Visitor, and transportation volunteers are most needed.  To inquire about these or other opportunities, call Marilyn Johnson, HSS Volunteer Coordinator, 233-2906, email: MJohnson@hsservicesia.com.

Please see the Hands for Heartland brochureVolunteers and Volunteer Spotlight for information on how volunteers contribute to Heartland's programs.

Publicity --
Community presentations by HSS on a variety of agency services are available to groups.  Presentations are  designed to meet the needs of individual audiences.  Often participants, families, or community members provide great testimonials for our programs.  If you are interested in speaking on behalf of seniors or Heartland, please contact HSS Executive Director John Middents at 515-233-2906.

Donated items --
Many items needed at Heartland are outside the operating budget.  Please see our Wish List.
